Heavyweight cotton is the through-line of Fortuvo — but not every piece uses the same weight. GSM (grams per square metre) tells you how dense the fabric is. Here is how our range maps to real-world wear.
Fortuvo weights at a glance
- 275gsm — polo (cotton pique, smart days)
- 305–330gsm — tee and long sleeve (dense cotton layers)
- 310gsm — trouser (structured cotton bottom)
- 530gsm — hoodie, sweatshirt, sweatpant (fleece uniform)
Layer pieces (305–330gsm)
Denser than most high-street tees (often 160–180gsm). Our 330gsm tee has a structured hand — it sits away from the body, holds a relaxed silhouette, and layers cleanly under fleece.
Fleece uniform (530gsm)
The heaviest tier. Shared across hoodie, sweatshirt, and sweatpant so your co-ord feels balanced. See our 530gsm fleece pieces and the dedicated why 530gsm guide.
How to choose
- Everyday base: tee or long sleeve
- Lounge & cold: hoodie or sweatshirt + sweatpant
- Sharper days: polo + trouser
